Dear friends!
This is a book written for those who are about to be or are already bitten by the cactus-iosis germ but do not know what to do next. Also those who have spent already several years seeing more cacti than people can find some new information here too.
We have published it in Polish as there is a constant shortage of good books on the subject in our language and this IS a very good book. The authors have been considering plants as members of their family for many years now although those potted beast outnumber the humans by hundreds of thousands times in the family. They are very well known in the Czech Republic and abroad as sellers of plants, as growers, as travellers and very friendly people.
The book teaches to grow plants, to propagate them, tells what to do throughout the year and how to protect them against pests and deseases. There is a portion on Mesemb plant, on caudex and pachycaul suculents and how to sow their seeds too. All this is presented in a way you would like for sure.
We do not expect you, English speakers, to read our Polish translation. We only tell you that such a book exists and is really worth to be translated into English and other languages, too.
