Mediolobivia
|
|
It is a subgenus in Rebutia genus today. It was a part of Lobivia for Rausch. It used to be called Digitorebutia by some. It is a Mediolobivia for many of us. Very small “fingers” in shape with tiny, not prickly spines and gorgeous flowers. Andes dwellers (Argentina and Bolivia), always at high elevations. Need mineral potting mix, a lot of sun (they can do in light shade but there will be less flowers) and quite a lot of water from time to time. Cold (0–5°C) and light winter is necessary. |
