Here we place a group of genera from southern US (New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Utah and Nevada etc.) that grow in very tough condition and that is why their cultivation is very difficult. They belong to most difficult plants we keep in our collections. This is the reason they are almost always grafted. Sclerocactus, Pediocactus, Navajoa and Toumeya are the main members of the group.
